About Us

Miriam’s Growing Seeds Child Development Home (CDH) was founded on the belief that children learn best in environments that feel like home—rich in warmth, consistency, and intentional learning experiences. Our program blends the nurturing qualities of a family child care setting with the structure and best practices of high-quality early childhood education.

Our founder, Miriam, is a dedicated early childhood professional who brings passion, patience, and a deep understanding of child development to the work she does each day. She values strong relationships with families and believes in building trust through open communication, cultural responsiveness, and respect for each child’s background and individuality.

As an Early Head Start–federally recognized program, we follow high standards for health, safety, nutrition, developmental assessment, and family engagement. This designation reflects our commitment to delivering equitable, research-based, and comprehensive early learning experiences for all children—especially our youngest learners and families who benefit most from early support.
